Artmetria · AI Lab
AI for art, built as a real product family — not as a collection of tricks.
Artmetria AI is a growing system of applied tools. It begins with guidance and profiling, then moves toward recommendation, artwork analysis, semantic search, market-linked intelligence, and deeper professional workflows — always connected to the rest of the platform.
One AI layer. Several moments of use.
Artmetria AI is designed as a progression rather than a feature dump. The point is not to multiply disconnected tools. The point is to move from first orientation to deeper artistic and analytical use in a way that still feels coherent.
Makes the ecosystem readable and lowers the friction of first contact.
Begins with a starter reading, then deepens into refinement inside Light.
Extends profile into artists, correspondences, and paths worth exploring.
Live: Semantic Search (Pro), per-lot Artwork Analysis (Pro+), and the Reading Room (all plans).
Market discrepancy detection
Identify potential gaps between attribution, visual signals, and historical corpus.
Built to detect potential discrepancies, analyze visual and taxonomic signals, and identify possible undervaluation.
Sleepers
Market discrepancy detection designed to identify potential gaps between attribution, visual signals, and historical corpus.
Sleepers is built to detect potential discrepancies, analyze visual and taxonomic signals, and identify possible undervaluation with transparent metrics and explicit caveats.

Advisor
Advisor is Artmetria’s orientation layer. Its purpose is not to imitate a generic chatbot. It exists to make the platform readable, reduce hesitation, and guide the user toward the surface that actually fits the moment.
- Directs users toward the right surface: Atelier, Aesthetic Profile, Artmetria Index, Global Radar, Cockpit, or Pro.
- Reduces friction at the beginning of the journey and makes the ecosystem more legible.
- Keeps the tone useful and restrained instead of producing vague or theatrical AI answers.
Aesthetic Profile
Aesthetic Profile is the strongest public-facing entry into Artmetria’s AI layer. It helps transform instinctive preferences into a clearer aesthetic structure that can then support recommendation, exploration, and continuity across the platform. In Light, that first reading can deepen into a more precise refinement layer designed to sharpen later discovery.
- Clarifies visual preferences, recurring affinities, and families of taste.
- Creates a first bridge between what the user feels instinctively and what the platform can structure explicitly.
- In Light, opens a deeper profile refinement layer designed to sharpen Matches and make discovery more coherent across the cockpit.
Artistic Matches
Artistic Matches extends the profile layer toward a more actionable surface. It is meant to propose artists, correspondences, and directions to explore with more structure and less noise — not generic recommendation for its own sake. Its value increases when it can rely on a more precise profile calibration rather than a starter reading alone.
- Builds on the Aesthetic Profile rather than starting from generic recommendation logic.
- Gets stronger as profile refinement sharpens the user’s aesthetic calibration.
- Helps users move from aesthetic intuition toward a more coherent field of exploration.
Reading Room · Semantic Search · AI Analysis Tools
Reading Room opens on every plan, with depth that scales by tier; Semantic Search runs across the corpus on Pro; AI Analysis Tools delivers per-lot reasoning on Pro+.
- Reading Room (all plans) — a cautious preliminary reading whose depth scales by tier; it does not authenticate, estimate, predict, or recommend buying/selling.
- Semantic Search (Pro) — live cross-source search across the museum corpus, Italian Eye and auction lots.
- AI Analysis Tools (Pro+) — live per-lot visual reasoning, attribution cues and comparative analysis.
The AI Lab is not frozen. It is a growing family of products.
Some layers are already live. Others are opening next. The important thing is that they do not appear at random: they grow out of the same core logic and are meant to strengthen how people orient, search, compare, and read.
Recommendations are exploration paths, not buying advice. Pro and Pro+ capabilities open progressively depending on their current state.
Radar-linked intelligence
A layer designed to connect AI to signals: fairs, exhibitions, sale calendars, market events, and recurring patterns that become more useful when they are structured rather than merely listed.
Custom Index Builder
A surface to compose your own index from selected filters and criteria — building on the synthetic-index engine that already powers the live Artmetria Index and sub-indices.
Enterprise / institutional layers
Longer term, the AI layer can extend toward team, research, and institutional workflows where structured intelligence matters across multiple users and shared contexts.
AI becomes more useful when it is connected to the Artmetria core.
The AI layer is not meant to float above the product. Its value increases when it connects to structured surfaces that already exist across the platform.
Reading Room is a cautious preliminary reading — not authentication, valuation, or purchase advice.
Gives AI structure, explicit criteria, and a more grounded reading logic.
Gives AI a live environment of dates, fairs, exhibitions, sales, and recurring signals.
Gives AI historical and stylistic memory through structured artist and lot data.
Saved items, notes, watchlists, and return visits give the AI layer continuity rather than one-off cleverness.
Want deeper access to the AI layer?
Start with the public and Light surfaces, then move into Pro and Pro+ as the deeper analytical tools become relevant to your use. The AI Lab grows with the rest of Artmetria — not beside it.
Some Pro and Pro+ features are currently Live, some are Beta, and others remain Coming next or Roadmap.
