Terms of Use

Last revised 5 September 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Artmetria website and platform. They are provided in a draft public form. Artmetria is currently operated by its founder as an individual and no operating company has yet been incorporated; these Terms are reissued in their definitive form, in the name of that company, once it exists.

Scope

These Terms apply to access to the Artmetria website, public pages, user accounts, subscriptions, and related platform features.

Who you are contracting with

Artmetria is currently operated by its founder as an individual. No operating company has yet been incorporated. A UK company is intended to be formed, after which these Terms will be reissued in the name of that company and the Imprint will publish its registered name, company number and registered office.

Until then, no company registration details exist and none are published here. No paid subscription is sold and no payment is taken in the name of a company that does not yet exist.

Nature of the service

Artmetria is presented as an educational and analytical platform focused on aesthetic training, structured interpretation, and art-related informational tools.

Artmetria does not present itself as a marketplace, broker, investment manager, or financial advisory service.

Accounts

Certain features may require account creation. Users are expected to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Users remain responsible for activity occurring under their account, subject to applicable law.

Acceptable use

Users agree not to misuse the platform, including by:

  • attempting unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
  • interfering with platform security or integrity;
  • copying, scraping, or extracting data in prohibited ways;
  • using the platform for unlawful, misleading, or abusive purposes.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the structure of the website, branding, editorial content, texts, graphics, layouts, and platform design elements are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

No license is granted except for the limited right to use the platform in accordance with these Terms.

Educational and analytical use only

Artmetria aims to support visual education, structured reading, and analysis. Its content and tools should not be understood as promises of gains, guarantees of performance, or instructions to buy, sell, or transact.

Availability and evolution of the service

Artmetria may modify, suspend, improve, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, especially during beta, staged rollouts, or product iterations.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Artmetria is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, specific outcomes, or suitability for any particular user objective.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to be governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales are intended to have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

Nothing in this section removes the protection of mandatory consumer-law rules of the country in which a consumer is habitually resident, and nothing in it removes a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country where the law gives them that right.

Both statements are marked as intended rather than settled: the company that will be party to these Terms has not been incorporated yet, and this section is reissued in its final form together with the rest of these Terms when it is.
