Cookie Policy

Artmetria uses two kinds of cookies and similar storage on your device. The same rules apply wherever you are, in the United Kingdom or in the European Union:

• Strictly necessary — to keep you signed in, keep your choices, and protect the service. They need no consent and cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
• Analytics — to measure how the site and the products are used, so they can be improved. They are set only if you accept analytics. Choosing « Essential only », or making no choice, sets none.

No cookie is used for advertising, and none is shared with an advertiser.

Strictly necessary:

• sb-…-auth-token — keeps you signed in (Supabase); for as long as you stay signed in, at most 400 days;
• am_analytics_consent_v1 (stored in your browser, not a cookie) — remembers your analytics choice, until you change it.

Analytics, only with your consent:

• am_aid — a random identifier that keeps your visits together; 13 months;
• am_sid — a random identifier for one visit; 30 minutes;
• ph_…_posthog — PostHog's product analytics; one year.

When you take the aesthetic primer, a first-party cookie, am_starter_aid, keeps your answers together until you sign in. It holds a random identifier, not your answers, and lasts one year. It is not an analytics cookie and does not depend on your analytics choice. See the privacy policy, « Your aesthetic profile ».

Event analytics can include page path, event context, referrer, landing_path, and UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) when present.

For newsletter analytics, we may process email_domain, not full email addresses in analytics payloads.

• PostHog for product analytics, only with your consent, acting on Artmetria's instructions;
• Sentry for error monitoring and reliability telemetry;
• Supabase for data storage and authentication;
• Stripe for checkout and payment flows;
• Resend for email and newsletter delivery.

On your first visit, a notice offers two equal choices: Accept analytics and Essential only. Until you choose, no analytics cookie is set.

With « Essential only », a few events needed to run the service — a completed or cancelled payment, a sign-in — are still recorded, without any analytics identifier.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

You can review your analytics choice at any time with the Manage cookie preferences button above, on this page, which is linked in every page footer. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may impact parts of the site functionality.
