Responsible Use & Disclaimers

Last updated: 30 May 2026

Artmetria is designed for education, discovery, structured analysis and responsible market understanding. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, authentication or appraisal services.

This page summarises how Artmetria's public content, AI-assisted outputs, Index signals, coverage notes and market context should be read. It is intended to clarify responsible use during beta and beyond.

Educational and analytical use

Artmetria is designed for educational, analytical and research-oriented use.

The platform helps users explore visual preferences, read artworks more carefully, understand selected market signals and connect aesthetic discovery with structured context.

Artmetria should be used as one layer among others: direct viewing, documentation, specialist advice, provenance research, condition review and independent judgement remain essential.

No financial or investment advice

Artmetria does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, buy/sell instructions, portfolio advice or guarantees of value.

Any market signal, Index score, radar item, recommendation, artist profile or analytical note should be understood as informational and educational material.

Users should make independent decisions and consult qualified professionals where appropriate before making financial, legal, tax or acquisition-related decisions.

No authentication, appraisal or condition report

Artmetria does not authenticate artworks.

It does not issue certificates of authenticity, appraisal reports, condition reports, conservation opinions or legal opinions.

Any artwork-related analysis should be treated as contextual and interpretive unless explicitly provided by a qualified professional through a separate formal process.

AI-assisted outputs

Artmetria may use AI to help structure information, clarify aesthetic preferences, organise artwork readings, suggest exploratory paths and explain context.

AI outputs are not expert certificates, authentication opinions, valuations, legal opinions, tax advice, financial advice or definitive specialist conclusions.

AI inside Artmetria is used as an interpretive assistant. It supports judgement; it does not replace it.

Index and scores

The Artmetria Index and related scores are analytical signals.

They are not verdicts, predictions, investment ratings, guarantees of future performance or instructions to buy, sell or hold.

Scores should be read together with coverage, confidence, source quality, category context and methodological notes.

Coverage and data limitations

Artmetria does not claim to cover the entire art market.

Coverage may be active, partial, monitored, experimental or outside the current perimeter. Some data may be incomplete, delayed, inconsistent, revised or unavailable.

A missing artist, artwork, house, sale or source should not be interpreted as absence of importance.

Recommendations and discovery

Artmetria recommendations are exploratory.

They may reflect aesthetic affinity, educational relevance, visible market context or structured similarity. They should not be understood as acquisition advice, investment recommendations, liquidity assessments or guarantees of suitability.

A recommendation is an invitation to look further, not an instruction to act.

Images, sources and rights

Artmetria may reference artworks, sale records, visual material, catalogues or external sources according to availability, rights status and product context.

Some images or source material may not be reusable inside the platform. Where limitations exist, Artmetria aims to preserve caution rather than create false precision.

Beta status

Artmetria is currently in beta.

Some features are active, some are limited, some are previews, and some are being progressively opened.

The beta should be read as the first public expression of a method, not as a finished authority covering every segment of the art market.

Responsible interpretation

Artmetria helps users ask better questions.

It does not remove the need for careful looking, source comparison, expert advice, material examination, legal review, tax review or independent judgement where relevant.

If a decision has financial, legal, conservation or acquisition consequences, users should not rely on Artmetria alone.

This page is a public explanatory note, not a substitute for formal legal terms or professional advice.
